British Curry Awards
Miah’s Garden of Gulab restaurant in Reading has again been recognised as one of the best Indian restaurants in the country at the British Curry Awards.
The fifth anniversary of the awards was marked with a spectacular event in Battersea Park’s Evolution centre, hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald. David Cameron was the chief guest and praised the entrepreneurial spirit and family vales that underpin the achievements of the spice industry.
The ceremony was attended by more people than ever, with over 1600 guests, including restauranteurs, politicians, guests and celebrities coming from all over the world.
